The House By The Cemetary-1985

“A calm beautiful house by the cemetery is rented by a young happy family. There all the good ends. One by one who is in the house disappear without any sign. The family hears noise from the basement, find nothing, but something terrible is there.
The son become a witness of a cruel death and is shocked, but the mom doesn’t believe him. He gets trapped in the basement and then the real terror begins. In the basements darkest places they will find something no one ever thought existed.”
Lucio Fulci really does his title as the master of horror to his own; this is a movie that gives me shiver down my back in spite of the classical 90th century technology. The special effects are the best I’ve seen from this time. I recommend this movie for its charm and its similarity to H.P. Lovecraft’s novels.
